Miss Caroline Spaedy will enter the Carmel of Jesus, Mary & Joseph in Valparaiso, Nebraska on Sunday, June 14. Miss Spaedy will be given the Postulant’s habit on that day. Following an initial period of discernment (6 – 9 months), she will be invested in the habit of novice for a period of 2 years followed by first vows which last 3 years. After this 5 1/2 year period, the junior professed may petition to make her vows perpetual. Next Sunday, June 7 will be Miss Spaedy’s last Sunday with us. You are richly encouraged to pray for our former parishioners in religious formation.
